I Found a Reminder Message On the Ground

IMG-20121219-00168

Sometimes we need to be reminded that we’re special, important, loved, or needed.  And sometimes those reminders may be presented to us in an email, a letter, a small gesture, or a special flower delivery.  Or perhaps you may found it on the ground as I did.  I happened to stumble upon a card laying on the ground, as I exited a store a few weeks back.  I almost stepped right over and then I doubled back to read the message it stated, ‘you are awesome’.  I smiled, snapped a photo, and continued on my journey.  I didn’t pick it up, just thought that someone else may needed to be reminded as I did.

I hope you also take the time to look, listen, or simply just remember that you are important, needed, loved, special and yes ‘you are awesome’ too.

Sincerely,
Hearts of June

Give Me A Coffee and A Side Of Courage

I like the word courage.  It moves and shakes me.  It gives me something to think about.  I like to speak it.  It gives me a sign of hope.  This year will be a year of courage for me.  Everything that I speak and do will be with a side of courage.

Here’s a quote about courage from one of my favorite arthors and poets:

“Courage: the most important of all the virtues because without courage, you can’t practice any other virtue consistently.” ― Maya Angelou

What’s the most courageous thing you feel you’ve done?  or What is something you would like to do but haven’t because you don’t feel courageous?

Sincerely,
Hearts of June

Happy New Year and a New Journey Begins

Happy New Year everyone, may it be your best year ever.

Well, I was deciding what direction I wanted my first blog post of the New Year to be about, I didn’t want to focus to hard on it so I brushed it away.  Then after just a moment or two of thought, I decided to just keep it light and simple.  Why?  That’s how I want to approach and flow through 2013, with simplicity.  Keeping it simple doesn’t mean that I won’t put forth 100% effort but instead I will keep things simple and not complicate them.  I think some times over-thinking things can lead to procrastination (depending on what it is).  There are a lot of things that I want to accomplish this year and procrastination is not allowed.  : )

What are some of your goals for this year?

All the best,
Hearts of June
